The revisional application was preferred against the judgement and order dated 26th November, 2013, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Nadia in connection with Criminal Appeal No.12 of 2013.

The subject-matter of challenge in the appeal was in relation to an order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Krishnagar, Nadia, in connection with Case No. 122 (iv) of 2012, wherein the learned Magistrate was pleased to award maintenance of Rs.3,000/- per month to one Gayetri Roy (Mondal).

The present petitioner along with others moved before the learned Sessions Court in appeal and the appellate court after assessing the reasonings assigned by the learned Magistrate was

pleased to affirm the award of maintenance of Rs.3,000/- per month.

Records of the present revisional application reflects that by an order dated 18.09.2014, a coordinate Bench of this Court was pleased to vacate the interim order which was initially granted. The matter has been pending since then before this Court. Having regard to the present cost of living and the amount of maintenance so awarded by the learned Magistrate which was affirmed by the learned appellate court, I do not find any reason to interfere with the order under challenge.

Accordingly, the revisional application being C.R.R.520 of 2014 is dismissed. All the connected applications are accordingly disposed of.
