Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the parties, it appears that the transfer order dated February 18, 2020 in so far as the writ petitioner is concerned has been stayed by a coordinate bench of this court and the said order is still subsisting. The writ application has now become infructuous since the order of transfer was passed almost 11⁄2 years ago. While quashing the impugned transfer order, we observe that it will be open to the respondent authorities to take a decision as to whether the writ petitioner can be transferred to any other place for administrative exigencies.
