ssd CRR/1893/1993 UJJAL CHAKRABORTY VS THE STATE OF WEST BENGAL This is an application filed by the petitioner under Section 401/482 of the Cr. P.C. for quashing of the charge-sheet framed under Section 376 IPC on 24th August, 1993 by the Additional Sessions Judge, Suri, Birbhum in Sessions Case 54/93 (Dubrajpur P.S. Case No 24/93 G.R. Case No.147/93).

The matter was first taken up in the year 2007 when none appeared. In the interest of justice notices were served upon the State through the learned Public Prosecutor.

Thereafter on several occasions none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

The record reveals that pursuant to the direction of the Coordinate Bench dated 18.09.2007, the trial court records were transmitted to this Hon'ble Court.

Today also none appears on behalf of the petitioner and the matter is running in the Warning List since 20.2.2025.

Considering the facts, this Court is of the view that no reason to keep the matter pending.

Hence, the instant revisional application is dismissed for default.

Let a copy of this order along with the trial court records be sent to the learned trial Court immediately.
