Mr. Suman De Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ... for the State (appointing) Mr. Suman De and Mr. Dipankar Paramanick, learned counsels, who ordinarily appear on behalf of the State, are requested to represent the State in this matter. Their engagements may be regularised by the concerned authorities. Copy of the revisional application be served upon Mr. De.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an accused in this case. After obtaining bail he had been regularly appearing before the trial court since 2020. On the particular day when the warrant of arrest was issued, he could not attend the court as the date was fixed for his daughter's marriage.

It appears that the petitioner had been attending court since 2020 and was absent on one occasion in 2025 when the warrant of arrest was issued.

In view of the above and the interest of justice, the warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner shall remain stayed for a period of five week from this date. The petitioner shall be at liberty to appear before the trial court and pray for bail.

In the event the petitioner surrenders before the trial court and prays for bail within such time of five weeks from this date, his application shall be considered in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent certified photostat certified copy of this order,if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
