1. The petitioner complains that Polba Police Station is harassing him in connection with an FIR No. 177 of 2022 dated 10th October, 2022.

2. The petitioner claims to be a social worker and a member of a political party.

3. Counsel for the Polba Police Station submits that the petitioner is actually a land grabber and a broker. He further submits that the petitioner was part of the transaction, which is the subject matter of the FIR.

4. The petitioner claims to have responded to notice issued under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on three occasions.

5. Polba Police Station vehemently opposes the same and submits that the petitioner has not co-operated with the investigation.

6. In that view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the police cannot be faulted and they are entitled to conduct the investigation in accordance with law. The petitioner shall co-operate in the investigation and

respond to the notice issued under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on Saturday i.e. 29th April, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. before the Investigating Officer of Polba Police Station and produce all the documents, if necessary.

7. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8. There will be no order as to costs.

9. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
