The petitioners allege that the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 filed before the District Magistrate is pending consideration for a considerable period of time.

Learned counsel for the State submits, upon instructions, that the said application has already been disposed of.

According to the bank, no formal communication has been made intimating disposal of the Section 14 application.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the District Magistrate to immediately communicate the fate of the Section 14 application made by the bank.

In the event if it is found that the Section 14 application is yet to be disposed of, the same shall be disposed of in accordance with law within thirty days from the date of communication of this order.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of

this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
