Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 8th August, 2024 and has been implicated on the basis of suspicion.

Having considered that the petitioner was working in a different State, who returned 3 to 4 days prior to the incident and during this period the unfortunate incident took place. It was incumbent upon the petitioner to come out with a proper explanation.

Presently the materials collected by the investigating agency do point the petitioner's thick complicity so far as the alleged offence is concerned.

Having considered the gravity of the offence, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M) 762 of 2026 is dismissed.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
