The petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as the information furnished was not acted upon.

Learned advocate appearing for the respondent no.4 disputes the nature of the accusations and submits that the petitioners have made wild allegations against the police authorities. State has submitted a report which reflects that Hingalganj Police Station Case no. 66/2025 dated 20.03.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of BNS. The police authorities are also keeping sharp vigil at the area so that no untoward incident results

because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

Having considered that the purpose for which the writ petition has been preferred is subserved, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. However, the police authorities are directed to effectively take steps and take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 6909 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
