Petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by the order dated November 26, 2021.

The petitioners filed a put up petition before the learned Additional District Judge, First Court at Serampore being SPL (P) No.- 5/2021 which was returned, according to the petitioners, on the ground that, the Court cannot take the surrender of the petitioners. Apparently, the petitioners filed the put up petition for the purpose of surrendering and obtaining bail in terms of the order of anticipatory bail granted on November 26, 2021. The Court is informed that the learned Additional District Judge, First Court at Serampore, is also authorized to hear the cases under the POCSO Act, 2012.

In such circumstances, the petitioners are at liberty to surrender before the learned Additional District Judge, First Court at Serampore, in terms of the order granting anticipatory bail dated

November 26, 2021.

IA No.: CRAN 1 of 2022 in C.R.M. 2748 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
