Statements of witnesses disclose prima facie involvement of the petitioner in assaulting the victim who suffered head injuries and subsequently the victim died. Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail (CRM 3227 of 2020) is, thus, rejected. Subsequently connected application (CRAN 1605 of 2020) is also disposed of.

The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court.
