GP Mr. Raja Saha Mr. Nilatpal Chatterjee ... for the State Mr. Sutanu Patra Mr. Kanak Kiran Bandyopadhyay Ms. Supriya Dubey .... for the SSC The bunch of aforesaid matters have been assigned to this Bench to be taken up together because of the unity of issues involved, therein. The vires of the provisions contained in West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (Amendment) Act, 2017 is challenged in the instant appeal and the matter traveled up to the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The Hon'ble Supreme Court has requested the High Court to take up all such matters analogously and to be heard as early as may be found feasible.
The aforesaid matters are listed today and it is uniformly submitted by the counsels that there are other matters involving the identical points pending before this Court and, therefore, they are also required to be clubbed together, so that all such matters can be decided on one go.
Both the counsels prayed for fixing the matters after the ensuing puja vacation.
In view of the above, all these matters shall be listed on 9th November 2021. In the meantime, both the counsels shall disclose the other matters, which are pending in this Court, before the closure of this Court for puja vacation, so that they can be listed together on 9th November 2021.
