Affidavit of service filed in Court is taken on record. 2.

The writ petitioner is aggrieved by investigation into Sarsuna Police Station Case No.

dated 04.01.2023 under Section 380 of the IPC.

It appears from the records that three accused persons, who are drug addicts, have been arrested and detained in custody, and have confessed to their crimes.

They were enlarged on bail notwithstanding the confession in January, 2023. 4.

The stolen articles, being jewellery, household articles and cash, have not been recovered as yet. 5.

This Court is of the view that that the investigation must be supervised by a Senior Officer of the Kolkata Police.

Let an A. C. P. be nominated by the Commissioner of Police to supervise the investigation. The Police shall be entitled to apply for cancellation of the bail of the accused and add other sections in the FIR.

It is expected that investigation is completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of forty five days from date.

The writ petition is disposed of.

9.

There will be no order as to costs.

10. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
