Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions dated 19th June, 2023 issued by the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwanpur Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears that alleged social boycott on the petitioner was at the instance of one Hari Bera, who let out his tractor to the petitioner for hire, but did not receive any payment. He may have instigated other tractor owners and villagers not to interact with the petitioner. 3.

This Court directs the Bhagwanpur Police to issue an appropriate warning to the said Hari Bera not to indulge in such activity in future. If there is any sum due and owed by the petitioner to any person, appropriate civil proceedings may be taken out in accordance with law.

The police indicate that there is no obstruction to the petitioner's cultivation any further. In the event the petitioner faces any obstruction, he shall approach to the Officer-in-Charge, Bhagwanpur Police Station, who shall take appropriate steps including deployment of police picket for three days around the petitioner's land for his security and peaceful cultivation, if necessary. 5.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
