Petitioner undertakes to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within a month of resumption of normal functioning of the Court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody for about 260 days for committing offence under Section 489(B)/489(C) of the Indian Penal Code. However, the learned P.P.-in-Charge has raised objection against the prayer for bail on the ground that the

petitioner is a habitual offender and if he is released on bail, trial of this case may hamper.

We have gone through the memo of evidence carefully. Considering the extent of complicity and in view of the fact that on filing of the charge-sheet a prima facie case has been established against the petitioner, we are not inclined to release him on bail. Prayer for bail is, thus, refused. CRM 3244 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of. In view of disposal of CRM 3244 of 2020, all connected applications filed therewith are also disposed of.
