The defendants in a suit for partition are the petitioners of the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

The petitioners by the present application are praying a direction upon the learned Trial Judge for expeditious disposal of the connected Partition Suit No. 125 of 2008 pending before the Court of the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Kandi, District : Murshidabad.

It appears from the record that the interlocutory applications including an application for substitution are pending in the suit, at this stage the direction as prayed for is not warranted.

CO 688 of 2021 is disposed of with the above observation. No order as to costs.
