It is fairly submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that the writ petitions have become infructuous in view of the C.E.S.C Limited having already given connection to the premises of the petitioners. Such stand is supported by learned counsel appearing for the C.E.S.C as well as the private respondent.

Accordingly, WPA 10884 of 2021 and WPA 7680 of 2021 are dismissed as infructuous in the light of the above observations.

A Report filed today with regard to such connection, filed by learned counsel for the C.E.S.C, be kept on record.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
