Sankrail Police Station has filed a report dated 26.06.2023 and the same is taken on record.

Several complaints have been received from the petitioner and the private respondents against each other in respect of a land dispute.

Charge Sheet No. 125 of 2023 dated 03.02.2023 has been filed after investigation and registration of FIR on the petitioner's complaint. G. D. entries have been made in respect of subsequent complaint of the petitioner.

Counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has been living at his sister's house at Bagnan since December, 2022.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is staying away from the village out of fear and terror of the private respondents.

Having heard the counsel for the parties, this Court directs the petitioner and his family members to approach the O. C., Sankrail Police Station at 11.00 a.m. on 28.06.2023.

The O. C., Sankrail Police Station shall ensure that the petitioner and his family members are escorted back into their residences.

8.

Counsel for the private respondents indicate that they shall not obstruct or in any way harm the petitioner.

9.

The O. C., Sankrail Police Station shall continue to maintain regular vigil in the area where the petitioner and his family reside and ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

10.

The writ petition is disposed of.

11.

There will be no order as to costs.

12.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
