There are unauthorized constructions at the locale. Petitioner claims himself to be a tenant.

Unauthorized constructions in Kolkata Municipal Corporation area are menace not only to the lives of the inmates of the building but also to the members of the public at large. Unauthorized construction is yet to be removed. No effort is being taken to remove the same by the petitioner. In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 1192 of 2023 is dismissed.
