The present application for cancellation of bail was filed in connection with Muchipara Police Station Case No. 72 of 2007 dated 02.04.2007.

Record reflects that bail was granted on 28.05.2007 by the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta. Mr. Abhra Mukhejee, learned advocate who ordinarily appears for the State is directed to appear in this matter. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities in due course. Having regard to the period of time, which has elapsed in the meantime, I am of the opinion that no interference is called for at this belated stage.

Accordingly, the present application for cancellation of bail being CRM 2607 of 2008 is dismissed.
