1. Let a copy of this application be served upon Ms. Suveni Banerjee, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. She is requested to represent the State. Her engagement be regularized in due course.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 7.8.2024 in CRM (A) 2479 of 2024, inter alia, on the condition that he shall meet the I.O once a week till submission of a report in final form. The petitioners duly complied with the same condition. However, after about 4 dates of attendance, although the petitioner attended the police station and meet the I.O, the I.O did not put the stamp on the book in question.

The Investigating Officer thereafter, submitted a report claiming that the petitioner

appeared before him only on four occasions and thereby disregarded the order passed by this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the State.

4. The petitioner's contentions cannot be taken at its face value as he should have been aware of his responsibilities and insisted the Investigating Officer to put necessary stamp in the book.

5. Be that as it may, as the petitioner wants to join the proceeding, let the warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner remain stayed for a period of six weeks from date. In the event the petitioner surrenders before the learned Trial Court and prays for bail within such period of six weeks, his bail application shall be considered in accordance with law.

6. With the above observations and directions, the revisional application is disposed of.

7. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
