The main issue involved in this writ petition relates to cancellation of petitioner's registration for non-filing of return.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 6984 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent WBGST authority concerned to intimate the petitioner the outstanding revenue which is required to be paid by the petitioner for restoration of its registration within three working days and to open the portal for a period of 30 days to enable the petitioner to make such outstanding revenue dues within such time. If petitioner fails to pay the

outstanding revenue to be intimated by the WBGST authority within the time stipulated herein, the respondent authority concerned will be free to close the portal again and to proceed in accordance with law.
