1. Petitioner no. 1 has been arrested.

2. Application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner no. 1 is dismissed as infructuous.

3. It is contended petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law of the victim lady. Petitioner no. 3 is the wife of petitioner no. 2 and petitioner no. 4 is wife of another brother-inlaw of the victim. They contend they have been falsely implicated in the case. They pray for anticipatory bail.

4. Learned Lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

5. Statement of the victim shows petitioners assaulted her and set her on fire. Her statement is corroborated by the medical report which shows burn injuries.

6. In view of the nature of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner nos. 2 to 4.

7. The application for anticipatory bail in respect of the petitioner nos. 2 to 4 is, thus, rejected.
