Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated due to property disputes. We perused the materials in the case diary.

The victim recorded a statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code where, she claims that the petitioner attempted to rape her and on his failure forcibly made her to take acid.

Medical documents of the victim suggest that she was being treated for indigestion of acid.

In view of the gravity of offence and the involvement of the petitioner as transpiring from the materials in the case diary notwithstanding the fact that police filed charge sheet, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 928 of 2024is dismissed.
