Petitioner has approached this court for a protection to enter Tipu Sultan Shahi Mosque on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitre either on 31.03.2025 or 01.04.2025 and also when she leaves the said mosque. She intends to offer her prayers and apprehends she may be harassed when she enters and is present at the mosque while she offers her prayer.

Since the Muthawalli appointed by the Golam Mohammad Waqf State is responsible for the performance or offering of prayers and conducting programmes at the time of Eid-ul-Fitre festival, it would be in the fitness of circumstances that the petitioner approaches the Muthawalli with such prayer. If the Muthawalli grants permission in that

case, police authorities would ensure that no resistance is faced by the petitioner in respect of the prayers advanced.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 6670 of 2025 is disposed of.
