The alleged contemnor, Ashis Mahapatra, Branch Manager, Axis Bank Limited Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata is personally present in Court. This Court finds that the order dated 31st January, 2022, has been complied with by the Axis Bank Limited. The Ombudsman also appears to have complied with the said order.
Counsel for the petitioners submits that he has not received any order of the Ombudsman to which Mr. Bhattacharyya, Ld. Counsel for the Ombudsman submits that it has been sent by e-mail to them.
The grievance of the petitioners concerning inappropriate adjustment of the sums received from the Insurance Company into the account of the petitioners cannot be gone into in the instant proceedings.
Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.
The contempt application is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
