1. Victim died due to injuries inflicted on him. Postmortem report of the victim states that the death was due to the effects of the injuries ante-mortem in nature.

2. The case diary contains a statement of a person recorded under Section 180 of the BNSS, 2023 which states that the petitioner before us was one of those persons who was seen with the victim.

3. Considering such materials in the case diary, the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

5. CRM (A) 1031 of 2025 is dismissed.
