The writ petitioner complains that the private respondents are threatening him and his family members. A complaint to this effect has been lodged with the Baguiati Police Station, which has not been investigated. It is also submitted that Shyampukur Police Station has also not dealt with the complaint of the writ petitioner. Mr. Raja Saha, learned advocate who was directed to represent the State, makes submissions on the basis of instructions.

Learned counsel for the State has produced two reports in the form of instructions issued by the Officer-inCharge, Shyampukur Police Station dated 17th January 2022 and Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station dated 2nd January 2022 addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the writ petitioner has first lodged a complaint with the Baguiati Police Station against the private respondents. Upon investigation it is found by the Baguiati

Police Station that the writ petitioner has left the area within the jurisdiction to Baguiati Police Station six years ago and has sold the property lying thereat about two years ago.

Mr. Saha based on instructions of the Shyampukur Police Station submits that the private respondents Oli Khan and Daulat Khan is one and the same person. It is submitted that the said private respondent is residing within the said area but the Shyampukur Police Station could not proceed further with the investigation for want of particulars.

Be that as it may, this Court directs the writ petitioner to lodge a formal complaint with the Shyampukur Police Station and Shyampukur Police Station register FIR in respect of the complaint at annexure P1 to the writ petition with today's date. Shyampukur Police Station may complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of commination of this order.

The writ petitioner shall cooperate in every manner in such investigation With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
