Affidavit of service and the challan evidencing payment of deficit Court fees filed on behalf of the petitioners be kept with the record.

The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers at different schools under 24-Parganas (South) District Primary School Council.

The petitioners are complaining that though had completed 2 years regular D.El.Ed. Course before joining the service but is not getting 'A' category scale of pay. Mr. Biswas, learned advocate for the petitioners submits that similarly placed teachers have been given the benefit of 'A' category scale of pay.

He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no.2 herein, for consideration. The respondent no.2 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioners for 'A' category scale of pay in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order and to facilitate such consideration, the petitioners are directed to supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the respondent no.2. WPA 6728 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
