The petitioner/respondent prays for expeditious disposal of a title appeal being Title Appeal No. 105 of 2019 which is presently pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Howrah. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/respondent submits that although the title appeal is pending since 2019, there has been no progress in the said appeal and the matter is being adjourned on most occasions. The next date, to the best of the knowledge of the petitioner, has been fixed on 19th July, 2021.

Upon perusing the relevant orders, this court is of the view that the learned court below may be requested to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible in the present circumstances without giving any further adjournments to any of the parties in the said appeal. Since the appeal is pending from 2019, it is hoped that the appeal will be disposed of in a reasonable time.

C.O. 701 of 2021 is disposed of in terms of the above.

The petitioner is directed to communicate this order on the opposite parties as well as the learned Additional District Judge, 3rd Court at Howrah forthwith.
