The petitioner seeks appointment on compassionate ground. His father was an employee of the Chandannagar Municipal Corporation.

It appears that there is no scheme as on date for providing compassionate appointment in the Municipality.

In the absence of a formal scheme, the prayer of the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment cannot be considered.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
