The revisional applications have been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of the impugned charge-sheets filed in connection with three cases being, charge-sheet nos.308/2014, 531/2013 and 92/2014, which are arising out of the same and identical allegations arising out of Hare Street Police Station pending before the Court of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Kolkata.

The matters were taken up on 10th September, 2015 by the Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court. The petitioner was directed to cause service of notice upon the private opposite party as well as upon the State. However, the Court refused to pass any order of stay at the stage without hearing the other side. After that, the matters appeared on November 11, 2022, November 16, 2022, December 2, 2022, December 9, 2022, December 14, 2022, December 21, 2022, January 18, 2023 and January 19, 2023 when none appeared on behalf of the parties.

However, the matters were adjourned by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court.

In view of the above facts and circumstances and considering the direction of the Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court and the conduct on the part of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that there is no reason to keep the matters pending. Furthermore, the matters were running in the Warning List since February 20, 2025. Accordingly, criminal revisional applications being, C.R.R 626 of 2015, C.R.R. 627 of 2015 and C.R.R. 628 of 2015 stand dismissed for default.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Court below by the Department forthwith.
