Bhattacharyya Ms. Dipanwita Ganguly ...for the petitioners This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiffs praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at Burdwan, Purba Burdwan to dispose of Title Suit No. 116 of 2010 expeditiously. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioners that the suit is at the stage of evidence and the same is being adjourned from time to time on the prayer of the defendants.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate on record of the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application, along with a copy of this order, upon the opposite parties or the learned advocate representing them before the learned trial Judge.

From the order-sheets appended to this application this Court finds that dates were fixed for examination-in-chief of the PW-1 and the same was adjourned on the prayer of the defendants.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate for the petitioners CO 1087 of 2025 is disposed of by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division) at Burdwan, Purba Burdwan to dispose of Title Suit No. 116 of 2010 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
