The petitioner is one of several accused persons. The petitioner says that the incident was a fallout of family dispute regarding property transactions.

We have seen the material in the case diary. The statements of witnesses specifically implicate the petitioner. The Injury Report shows that the victim suffered grave injury. Investigation is in progress.

On an overall consideration of the material on record and the nature and gravity of the offence that the petitioner has been charged with, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, CRM 2792 of 2021 is dismissed.
