Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that there was a family temple of goddess Kali where the petitioner is being restrained by the respondents from entering and offering his puja/worship.

The said temple was constructed by the mother and uncle of the present petitioner.

It has further been alleged by the petitioner that a padlock has been affixed at the behest of the private respondents, thereby restraining them from even entering the vicinity of the said temple. Petitioner informed such incident to the police station. But till date no action has been taken. To establish his rights, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional civil court.

State has submitted a report which reflects that a General Diary Entry was recorded. Since a temple is involved, police authorities would keep a strict vigil that in respect of worshiping or regarding control of the temple, there is no breach of peace or tranquility or any untoward incident taking place because of the strained relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 7501 of 2024 is disposed of.
