Mrs. Sreeparna Das ....for the State The de facto complainant received one call from a number which is traced to be the petitioner.

De facto complainant apparently worked on the basis of the information supplied by the petitioner through such number and in the process lost a sum in excess of Rs.5 Lakh from his bank account.

Complicity of the petitioner cannot be overlooked at this stage.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM (A) 1215 of 2023 is rejected.
