Sufficient grounds have been made out explaining the absence of the petitioner's counsel on June 27, 2023. The order dated June 27, 2023 is recalled. Hence, the writ petition is restored to its original file and number.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2023 is allowed and disposed of.

The petitioner is a Teacher-in-Charge of Kolsanda Converted Junior Basic School, Paschim Medinipur. The petitioner has applied before the Chairman, DPSC, Paschim Medinipur for appointment of a

regular head teacher. The said application has not been considered.

In those circumstances, the Chairman, DPSC, Paschim Medinipur shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated June 17, 2019 strictly in accordance with law. Attempt shall be made to appoint the regular head teacher as expeditiously as possible.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
