Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. 3 ltrs. of codeine phosphate was recovered from the petitioner. Trial has already commenced and three witnesses have been examined. Prosecution assures this Court to conclude trial at an early date.

In view of the aforesaid facts and the assurance given by the prosecution, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
