Case No. 826 of 2011 under Sections 420/465/467/468/471/120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. It appears that the case is at the evidence stage. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioners that there are total 47 witnesses to be examined in the trial and the examination of PW-1 is going on.

This is a case of 2011. Though the grievance of the petitioners with regard to the delay appears to be genuine, in this pandemic situation, it cannot be expected that the learned Magistrate in the Court below should proceed with the trial at a normal pace. This revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Magistrate in the Court below to expedite the trial and conclude of the same at the earliest without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
