The petitioner refers to the order passed by this Bench on February 27, 2024 in WPA 4388 of 2024 (Sukdeb Sarkar v. The State of West Bengal & Ors.) which was heard along with WPA 26003 of 2023 (Murshidabad Patni-Cooperative Society Ltd. & Anr. v. The State of West Bengal & Ors.).

It has been submitted that in compliance of the direction passed by the Court a hearing was conducted by the Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Societies on March 7, 2024 but no order pursuant to the hearing was formally communicated to the petitioner.

Learned advocate representing the respondent nos. 2 & 3 produces the copy of the order dated March 7, 2024 passed by the Deputy Registrar.

It appears therefrom that a detailed order has been passed by the Deputy Registrar on March 7, 2024. Copy of the same has been handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner in Court today. There is nothing on record to suggest that the said order was communicated to the petitioner earlier.

It will be open for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceeding to challenge the order passed by the Deputy Registrar on March 7, 2024, if so advised. The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
