Das, Advocate ... for the petitioners Mr. Jaharlal De, Mr. Shamim Ul Bari, Advocates ... for the State The allegation in this petition is that the land situated at Mouza-Bhajna, Police Station-Dholahat, Block-Patharpratima, District-South 24 Parganas, JL No.06, RS and LR Dag No.2676 is the government land. The private respondents are trying to raise illegal construction and collected building material therefrom. A prayer has been made in the petition seeking a direction to respondent No.7 i.e. the Block Development Officer, Patharpratima Block to decide the pending representation dated 17.03.2022. Learned counsel for the State has no objection in the prayer.

Hence, we dispose of the petition directing respondent No.7 to duly consider the petitioners' representation dated 17.03.2022 and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of.
