The grievance of the petitioner is directed against an order dated 7th August, 2018 issued by the Special Land Acquisition Officer rejecting the claim of the petitioner for empanelment of his the name as a landlooser category. It is alleged on behalf of the petitioner that the impugned order does not contain any reason whatsoever and is not in accordance with law.

Mr. Mukherjee appears on behalf of the State respondents and submits that the impugned order has been passed in accordance with law and after taking into consideration all the relevant facts and circumstances of the case.

I have heard the parties.

I am of the view that the impugned order does not justify any interference whatsoever. There is no

perversity, illegality or any contravention of any law in the decision making process in passing the impugned order. I also find that there are adequate and sufficient reasons in the impugned order which do not warrant any interference whatsoever.

It has been clearly held in the impugned order that the petitioner could not fulfil any of the criterion for entitlement in the exempted category. As such, there is no ground to interfere with the impugned order. In view of the aforesaid, WPA 7883 of 2021 stands dismissed. However, there will be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
