1. None appears for the petitioner.

Nobody appeared for the petitioner on 17th May, 2022, 4th November, 2022 and 31st July, 2025 also.

2. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest and cause does not survive. If the petitioner is still interested to raise the self-same cause, he may avail the remedy under the criminal law, but pertinently in his main relief he has prayed that action be taken by police authorities against the private respondents.

Even otherwise, the communication dated 17.12.2019 Annexure P/5 addressed to Officer-in-Charge, Beleghata Police Station shows that the petitioner himself is a aggrieved person. Thus this petition cannot be treated as public interest litigation.

3. The PIL is dismissed.
