Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that nothing was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The so-called recovery was made from an abandoned house.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention to the date of the lodgment of the first information report.

It appears from the seizure list and the materials in the case dairy that the seizure was made from the house belonging to the petitioner. The case is of November 27, 2020. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the long absconsion of the petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM (A) 1733 of 2022 is rejected.
