Report filed by the State is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner got married to a person against the will of her family members. Since then her family members had been threatening and intimidating her and her in-laws. In fact, the petitioner's father filed a false case of abduction against the husband of the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. Pursuant to an earlier order passed by this Court, a statement of the victim was recorded under Section 164 of the Code. She has exonerated the accused and she happens to be an adult.

It appears from the report incorporating a copy of the victim's statement under Section 164 of the Code that she is living peacefully at her in-laws' place. The father of the petitioner apparently did not accept the relationship

of the petitioner and her husband and filed a case of abduction.

Let the police authorities keep a sharp vigil at the place where the petitioner resides and ensure that no harm ensues to the petitioner or the members of her inlaws' family. Surveillance shall include frequent visits by police patrol.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
