Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Learned advocate for the Union of India submits that his name has been wrongly recorded in the earlier orders. It should be reflected in the earlier orders that 'Mr. Suryaneel Das', learned advocate has appeared for the Union of India. Mr. Sen, learned AGP appearing for the State has submitted a report in respect of the steps taken against the petitioner pursuant to the earlier direction passed by this Court.

I find that Suti Police Station Case No.

970/2024 dated 21.12.2024 has been registered for investigation and relevant harsher process of law has been issued by the learned ACJM, Jangipur, Murshidabad. Since the learned ACJM, Jangipur, Murshidabad is already in seisin of the case and is monitoring progress of the case, further pendency of the writ petition or directions to be passed are unwarranted.

The police authorities will proceed to act in accordance with law as earlier directed by this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 7576 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
