This revisional application has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 with an application being, IA No. CRAN 1 of 2015 (Old No. CRAN 675 of 2015) under Section 5 of the Limitation Act for quashing of an order dated October 31, 2014 passed by the learned Sessions Judge at Uttar Dinajpur at Raiganj in Criminal Revision No.23 of 2013 in connection with a complaint case under Section 138 of the N.I. Act.

The matter was first listed on August 4, 2015, when none appeared on behalf of the petitioner and direction was given to the matter to go out of the list. On March 30, 2022, the revisional application along with the application (IA No. CRAN 1 of 2015 (Old No. CRAN 675 of 2015)) filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act listed, but none appeared on behalf of the parties. Direction was given to the Department to issue Administrative Notice to the parties through the concerned police station. Since, thereafter, the matter never appeared in the list. However, the Administrative Notice was issued to the parties through the Officer-in-Charge in compliance with the Hon'ble Court's direction dated March 30, 2022.

Today, none appears on behalf of the parties. The matter was running in the Warning List since February 20, 2025. In view of the long pendency of the matter and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that there is no reason to keep the matter pending further.

Accordingly, criminal revisional application being, C.R.R. 644 of 2015 along with the connected application being, IA No. CRAN 1 of 2015 (Old No. CRAN 675 of 2015) stand dismissed for default. Let a copy of this order be sent to the Court below by the Department forthwith.
