Petitioner alleges that the respondents are forcibly trying to occupy the land of the petitioner and to that extent they not only threatened but also attempted to assault him with deadly weapons in case the petitioner entered his land. Petitioner claims the land has been demarcated. However, the same is disputed by the private respondents as they claimed they are cultivating the land.

Be that as it may, so far the issue relating to demarcation is concerned, the same would be done by the appropriate authorities responsible, be it the BL & LRO or the officers of the land department by exercising the powers vested in them.

Police authorities would restrict themselves to the issue relating to law and order.

I find that the last of the representation was on 08.02.2024. Petitioner, accordingly, will file a fresh representation if the situation still persists. Police authorities would in case find that there is a tension prevailing they would take steps by ensuring that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting because of the strained relationship existing between the parties. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 7587 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
