Mr. Subhankar Das, Mr. Neil Basu, Mr. Sankha Biswas ... for the petitioner Mr. Amit Kumar Nag, Ms. Ranjabati Ray ... for the respondent-IOCL Mr. Subhankar Das, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition was filed for considering the representation of the petitioner dated 13th February, 2024 for correction/rectification of the online application. However, on the date of filing of the present writ petition, it was intimated by the respondent-IOCL that the candidature of the petitioner has been found to be ineligible. Accordingly, the present writ petition has become infructuous.

Mr. Amit Kumar Nag, learned advocate for the respondent-IOCL files the copy of the e-mail dated 12th March, 2024 sent to the petitioner informing him that his candidature has been found to be ineligible. Such email dated 12th March, 2024 is taken on record.

In view of the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition being WPA 7575 of 2024 stands dismissed as infructuous.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary legal formalities.
