Report submitted by the State is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that warrant of arrest is pending against the petitioners. In the meantime, the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the defacto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. It appears from the report submitted by the State as well as the submission made on behalf of the defacto complainant that the defacto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue against the petitioners shall be a futile exercise.

Accordingly, the revisional application, being CRR 1413 of 2025 is disposed of.

G.R. case no. 1702 of 2013 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Uluberia, Howrah insofar as the petitioners are concerned is quashed.

However, the proceeding shall continue against the other accused.

CRAN 1 of 2025 is also disposed of.
