The petitioners are aggrieved by the communication dated 16th February, 2023 intimating that the construction of the petitioners as well as the private respondents being made prior to 1973 and as certain portion of the construction was made after 1978, at such a distant date, it is not possible for the Panchayat to demolish the said construction.

It appears that the construction in question is in place for quite some time. No apparent reason has been shown as to why the same is required to be demolished after such a long period of time.

In view of the above, there is no reason to interfere with the instant writ petition.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
